Beijing Foreign Affairs School
A Brief History:
Beijing Foreign Affairs School，renamed in 2004, was founded in partnership with Beijing Hotel in 1980. It is the first secondary School which put School-Enterprise Education model into practice. In 1996, the school was recognized as the national key secondary vocational high school by the Ministry of Education. It was known for its excellent performance in different education fields. During these years, the school was identified as the advanced unit in many areas such as National Vocational Education Unit, National Vocational education Advanced Guidance Unit, Advanced Units of Ideological and Moral Education, and National Heroine Civilized Post. And it was also recognized as Olympic Education Model School by Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee for the outstanding contributions they have made to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In 2009 the school was awarded advanced units in National Education System by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
Campus Environment:
The school campus, covering an area of 33,000 square meters, lies to the downtown area of West District, Beijing. It comprises three teaching areas, which are all located in Chang'an Street and the Financial District with convenient transportation. 
Teacher Resources:
Beijing Foreign Affairs School has strong teaching staff, with 50 advanced teachers, 2 key professional members of Beijing and 7 core professional members of the local district among its 260 teaching and administrative staff. Its 2000 students are taught by the teachers, 90% of whom are dual-qualified, under the guidelines of development of science. 
Curriculum:
The school offers 8 specialties. Besides the Hotel Hospitality, which is the core major of the school, it also provides tourism services and management, cooking, public relations, Etiquette, E-commerce, financial services, aviation services, Business English, and International Business.
International Exchange:
The School persists in cooperating with enterprises for many years and school-enterprise cooperation model helps the school develop fast in vocational education. In order to adapt its students to a global environment, the school has developed a broad scope of national and international cooperation.
Since1999, the school participates actively in academic exchanges and has established academic relations with schools in the Netherlands, Singapore, New Zealand, Korea and Germany. It also acts as a leader of vocational education in China. Now it has partner schools in Gansu province, Jiangxi province, Guangxi province and Yunnan province, where they contribute to the development of vocational education in the Middle West area of China.
